Our Mare Mare Mare – Vermentino di Sardegna DOC – is undoubtly the Island’s symbol: a hymn to the sun, the sea and its beaches. The Vermentino’s harvest happens by tradition at the end of August, and represents the year’s first harvest. Through a delicate pressing and the following vinification in steel tubs, the defining flavours of this variety remain intact. The distinctive flavour of Mare Mare Mare is a tribute to the earth where the vines grow, a medium-textured soil with a gowan base. This combination results in a wine that matches perfectly the rich Mediterranean food tradition, especially with its fish recipes; basically, a lovesong for the sea, an ode to Mediterranean life itself.
